It also ensures proper substance mixing, its preheating and moistening for a very gentle access to the respiratory mucosa and lung tissue. When combining breast uplift and other plastic surgery treatment, the surgery can last up to 4 hours. This means that, compared to treatments with shorter operation time, it is more important for anaesthesia to be gentle.

Before the treatment
Before the treatment, it is necessary to first consult a plastic surgeon at our clinic. The doctor will perform an examination and evaluate the suitability of the surgery for the specific client. The client will then be informed about the surgery, post-operative regimen and potential risks. Together with the reception desk, pre-operative examinations are scheduled, including an ultrasonographic examination of the breasts, as well as the surgery itself.
During the treatment
Breast uplift is performed under general anaesthesia and takes about 2 hours. Before the surgery, the physician will make photographic documentation of the chest, take necessary measurements and draw lines for operating incisions. The principle is to reduce excess skin, reshape the breast and relocate the areolae to the desired position. We want your post-operative scars to be as small as possible, and therefore close the wounds with a special fine absorbable suture.
The desired breast shape is achieved by the suturing of the incisions. Scars from the surgery are usually located around the areola and underneath, in the shape of an inverted T.To prevent haemorrhaging, drains are introduced (removed the next day) and the chest is fixed with an elastic bandage. During the surgery, antibiotics are preventively administered. The client remains hospitalised at our clinic for 1-2 days.
After the treatment
During hospitalisation, clients are administered painkillers and, preventively, also antibiotics. Within 24 hours after the surgery, the first redressing is performed; drains are removed and an elastic modelling bra is put on. The client wears this bra for 6 weeks. Redressing appointments are repeated until the wounds heal.
Return to work is possible after approximately 2 weeks. For the first 2 months after the procedure, we recommend avoiding strenuous physical activities and lifting heavy objects. Scars will gradually fade over 3 to 6 months. The appIication of New Gel+ silicone patches on closed scars is recommended overnight. Scars can also be softened with the professional Palomar laser available at our clinic.
Who can be treated?
Breast uplift is performed for healthy women over 18 years of age. It is however not recommended for women who plan to become pregnant.
